As an EU Regulatory Reporting Specialist at EY, you will work as a part of the Regulatory Reporting BAU/Production team, understanding the intricacies around the European Regulatory reporting framework. You will interact with onshore/offshore team members, ensuring all deliverables conform to the highest quality standards and are executed in a timely manner. Your role will involve identifying, evaluating, and suggesting new technology opportunities for platform enablement and acting as key differentiators for offerings in the WAM/BCM space. Additionally, you will identify areas of improvement, streamline the work environment, and execute detailed procedures based on knowledge of funds, asset management concepts, controllership function, investment books and records, and/or financial reporting processes. Facilitating necessary conversations between the Business and technology to determine product features will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Understand European Regulatory reporting framework and work as a senior part of the Regulatory Reporting team - Interact with onshore/offshore team members - Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines - Identify and suggest new technology opportunities - Streamline work environment - Execute detailed procedures based on industry knowledge - Facilitate necessary conversations between Business and technology Skills and attributes for success: - Clear communication skills, both written and verbal - 1-3 years of experience in Banking Capital Markets or Wealth & Asset Management industry with exposure to European-based regulatory reporting - Masters degree in accounting or finance required, additional qualifications like MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA are beneficial - Fair understanding of the financial industry with exposure to fund accounting, expense reporting, tax reporting, asset types, and derivatives - Direct exposure to European regulatory reporting like MiFID II, PRIIPs, ESMA, CBI, AIFMD, CSSF, SFDR, or other reporting - Functional knowledge in WAM domain and capital market OTC derivative products - General understanding of Lux/UK GAAP, accounting knowledge, and Risk function deliverables What We Offer: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) offers a dynamic and global delivery network across six locations. You will be responsible for completing regulatory filings such as AnnexIV, FormPF, CPO, and more for a portfolio of clients on a periodic basis. Knowledge or exposure to regulatory filings like AIFMD, UCITS, CPO-PQR, Form PF, Solvency II, and PRIIP's would be beneficial.
