Staff Engineer, Workday Functional Consultant

You are an experienced professional with over 7 years of total experience, possessing extensive functional expertise in Workday HCM with a deep understanding of Workday Talent and Performance modules. Your proven skills lie in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Workday, along with a strong grasp of HR business processes, particularly focusing on Talent Management and Performance Reviews. Your experience includes working with Workday Reporting, EIBs, and Security configuration, and exposure to other modules such as Recruiting, Learning, or Time Tracking would be advantageous. You are familiar with Workday release management and change control processes, showcasing excellent problem-solving capabilities to address complex functional issues independently. Your forte also lies in documentation, where you excel in creating configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals. Your communication and stakeholder management skills are exceptional, enabling you to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye on priorities and timelines. Additionally, your leadership and mentoring abilities within cross-functional teams are well-demonstrated, and experience in Agile development environments would be a strong asset. In this role, your responsibilities include understanding clients" business use cases and technical requirements to craft technical designs that elegantly fulfill the requirements. You will be tasked with mapping decisions with requirements and translating them for developers, identifying optimal solutions that align with client needs, establishing guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during project implementation, and writing and reviewing design documents to elucidate the overall architecture and framework for developers. You will also review architecture and design aspects such as extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices. Your role will involve developing and designing solutions for defined functional and non-functional requirements, defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize these solutions, understanding technology integration scenarios, and applying these insights to projects.
