Staff Engineer Server Operations

You will be part of Equiniti, a renowned international provider of shareholder, pension, remediation, and credit technology, with a global presence spanning 120 countries and serving over 37 million people. EQ India, established in 2014 as a Global India Captive Centre, has evolved to become a Global Competency Centre, supporting EQ's global growth. As a Staff Engineer Server Operations, you will play a crucial role in deploying and managing the infrastructure that supports collaboration with UK & US customers. Your responsibilities will include proactively maintaining 2nd line production support for divisions and applications, ensuring compliance with quality processes, implementing optimized solutions for reliable and secure server infrastructure, resolving technical issues within SLAs, managing server installations and configurations, and employing automation techniques like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet. You will also be responsible for system monitoring, incident management, problem management, change management, asset management, and providing 24x7 support as part of an On-Call rotation. Your role will involve engaging with audit processes, integrating applications with infrastructure, improving existing infrastructure through automation, and documenting system information. The ideal candidate will possess strong AWS skills, excellent communication abilities, willingness to work in night shifts/US business hours, relevant certifications, a process-oriented approach, a desire for continuous learning and improvement, team player mentality, high motivation, and the ability to work independently towards root cause analysis and problem management.
