Job Description

As a Scribe Product Owner (SPO) at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role as a technical and execution interface for partners and customers of the Scribe Design Team within a global structure. Your primary responsibility will involve managing the MOI Scribe Product Owner(SPO) team and collaborating with partners/customers to define requirements and ensure timely completion of deliverables for specific part type schedules. This position will require close coordination with Process, Integration, Manufacturing, and Design teams across the company, utilizing processes and metrics to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include being the main point of contact for partners and customers regarding communication related to the product, ensuring that scribe design work meets requirements, standards, and schedules for each new DID or revision. You will work closely with various functional groups within the Scribe Design Team to ensure adequate resourcing, clear understanding of requests, and on-time completion of projects. Establishing a system of processes to streamline workflow in a globally distributed organization will be essential, along with standardizing best-known methods (BKMs) across technologies and scribe design sites. Driving continuous improvement by enhancing tools and processes, as well as eliminating redundancies, will also be part of your role. Moreover, you will be responsible for establishing training programs, organizing supporting materials, and driving implementation across internal groups and external partners. By setting up metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency, you will drive decisions based on data, metrics, and processes. The successful candidate for this position should possess strong communication, project management, program management, organizational, and people management skills. Additionally, innovative problem-solving abilities, team-building skills, flexibility with travel and work hours, and an understanding of device characterization and semiconductor mask procurement processes are required. Candidates must hold a BS degree in science or engineering or possess equivalent experience and have at least 12 years of experience in an engineering position with management responsibilities. Experience with Scribe TEG design, Layout, and Verification, as well as TEG design business processes, is preferred.
