Staff Engineer, Scribe Design Product Owner

As a Scribe Product Owner (SPO) at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role as the technical and execution interface for partners and customers of the Scribe Design Team globally. Your responsibilities will include: - Being the primary point of contact for partners and customers to communicate the product requirements effectively. - Ensuring that scribe design work for each new DID or revision meets specified requirements, standards, and schedules. - Collaborating with various functional groups within the Scribe Design Team to ensure projects are well-resourced and completed on time. - Establishing processes to streamline workflow in a globally distributed organization. - Standardizing Best Known Methods (BKMs) across technologies and scribe design sites. - Driving continuous improvement of tools and processes, while eliminating redundant ones. - Setting up training, organizing supporting material, and implementing them across internal groups and external partners. - Defining metrics to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency. - Making decisions based on data, metrics, and processes. Qualifications for this position include: - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Proficiency in project management and program management. - Excellent organizational and people management skills. - Demonstrated innovative problem-solving abilities. - Effective team-building skills both locally and globally. - Flexibility with travel and work hours to collaborate within a global team. - Understanding of device characterization and the relationship between test structure layout and measurement results. - Skills in layout and verification using Cadence and Calibre (DRC, LVS, Net extraction). - Knowledge of semiconductor mask procurement processes and device designs. Education & Experience Requirements: - A BS degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience. - At least 12 years in an engineering position with management experience. - Experience with Scribe TEG design, layout, verification, and TEG design business processes.
