Role Overview
A deeply hands-on
staff engineer
who brings strong technical judgment, speed, clarity and simplicity to engineering. You will shape architecture, raise engineering standards and ensure our systems scale reliably with high
ownership and proactive support.
Scope Set Technical Direction
Influence how systems evolve, what standards are adopted and how engineering decisions align with business goals.
Operate Across Teams
Take on cross-cutting, ambiguous, multi-team problems and bring clarity, direction, and solutions.
Act as a Technical Multiplier
Establish shared standards, unblock complex efforts and act as the glue that ensures consistency and cohesion across pods.
Balance Hands-On Execution and Strategy
Shape architecture, evaluate tradeoffs, set priorities and ensure long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Systems
Design
simple, scalable, resilient
distributed systems. Decide
what to build vs reuse vs adopt open-source
, using first-principles reasoning. Lead system design reviews and enforce clear, maintainable architecture patterns.
Hands-On Engineering
Write high-quality
Node JS + TypeScript
code. Design efficient
MongoDB
schemas and build complex aggregations. Deep debugging expertise on issues across
React, Flutter and Backend.
Leverage AI capabilities and develop at high pace with good taste.
AI Driven Engineering
Use AI as a
cognitive partner
to accelerate coding, debugging, design and decision-making. Orchestrate models, tools, context and workflows into a
productive AI- powered engineering loop
. Continuously adopt new AI capabilities to compound speed and improve system quality.
Champion AI native practices across teams, help engineers integrate AI effectively into their workflows.
Reliability & Support
Monitor systems proactively and catch issues early.
Respond to critical incidents with urgency even off-hours.
Drive root-cause analysis, performance improvements and observability.
Developer Experience & Quality
Contribute to improving developer workflows, tooling and automation. Maintain high standards around clarity, testing, security and simplicity. Advocate for minimal, robust and maintainable engineering.
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor engineers across levels and elevate technical judgment. Communicate decisions clearly and confidently.

Tech Stack
Node JS, TypeScript, MongoDB, React, Flutter, AWS (Lambda, SQS, SES, CloudWatch, ECS, Amplify), AI/LLM integrations, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker.

8+ years of
full stack
experience. Built and operated
