Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Studies Teacher to teach History, Geography, Civics, and Economics to students in the secondary grades. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for social sciences in students, while meeting curriculum objectives and fostering a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) to students in Classes 610. Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum guidelines (CBSE/ICSE/State Board/IB as applicable). Use innovative teaching methods including technology integration, projects, and group discussions. Assess students through assignments, quizzes, tests, and exams. Maintain records of students’ progress and report to parents and school administration. Encourage student participation and develop their interest in social and civic responsibilities. Organize or assist with school events, field trips, and exhibitions related to the subject. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level preferred. Proficient in spoken and written English. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
