So, what’s the role all about?

As a Senior Specialist Software Engineer at NiCE, with 12+ years of experience, you will be a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, highperformance, cloudnative SaaS products for enterprise customers worldwide. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams and bring deepexpertisein backend systems, distributed architecture, and cloudfirst technologies to influence architectural direction andmaintaintechnical excellence across the product. 

How will you make an impact?

• Endtoend software ownership: Lead the full software lifecycle - design, development, testing, deployment ensuring quality and scalability. 

• Microservices & distributed systems: Build and operate cloudnative solutions on AWS (Lambda, EKS, ECR, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Kinesis, MSK/Kafka). 

• Architectural stewardship: Enforce architectural principles and best practices in distributed, multitenant environments. Apply advanced design patterns and architect complex, largescale systems to ensure scalability, maintainability, and resilience. 

• Requirement translation: Contribute to product definition, feasibility analysis, and longterm strategic planning. 

• Technical execution: Drive design and delivery of complex features with emphasis on deployment planning, impact analysis, risk assessment, and workflow execution strategies. 

• Crossteam communication: Facilitate clear, structured communication across teams, ensuring alignment and smooth execution with global stakeholders. 

• Backend expertise: Apply proficiency in .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core 8, and .NET Standard 2.0 to deliver scalable enterprise solutions and reusable crossplatform libraries. 

• GoLang development: Build and optimize backend services using GoLang (v1.23+), applying modern language features for performance, scalability, and maintainability. 

• API & services: Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services supporting high throughput and low latency. 

• Continuous learning: Demonstrate a quick learning mindset, readily adopting new technologies and driving their successful implementation. 

• Containerization: Develop and optimize workloads using Docker/Kubernetes, focusing on performance, orchestration, and operational reliability. 

• DevOps & monitoring: Build CI/CD pipelines with automation, leveraging Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch for observability and system health. 

• Mentorship & knowledge sharing: Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and foster technical growth. 

• Quality assurance: Drive rigorous reviews, unit/integration test coverage, and automation for product quality. 

• Issue resolution: Troubleshoot production issues, performance bottlenecks, and reliability challenges. 

• Technical leadership: Demonstrate strong ownership, unblock team members, and drive technical decisions. 

• AI integration: Harness AI capabilities and prompt engineering strategies to transform workflows into efficient, automated processes.

• Enterprise application development with .NET Core 8 and .NET Framework 4.8. 

• Crossplatform library design with .NET Standard 2.0. 

• Database expertise: SQL & NoSQL. 

• Microservices and distributed systems design. 

• Cloudnative solutions on AWS (Lambda, EKS, ECR, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Kinesis, MSK/Kafka). 

• Event streaming and messaging with Apache Kafka. 

• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes. 

• CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch. 

• Strong foundation in OOD, OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns. 

• Secure coding practices aligned with enterprise standards. 

• Optional: backend development with GoLang (v1.23+).
