Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide HSE leadership and promote a strong safety culture across the site
Ensure 100% compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace risks and enhance safe work practices
Identify and implement best practices in HSE management
Build trust and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels through consultation and persuasive communication
Collaborate effectively within a matrix environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
Monitor safety performance, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions
Train, mentor, and guide teams to build safety awareness and accountability
Strategically contribute to HSE planning and risk management initiatives

Eligibility Criteria:

Degree in Chemical Engineering or Bachelor's/Master's in Chemistry
Diploma in Industrial Safety is mandatory
Minimum 1215 years of progressive field HSE experience
At least 5 years of HSE experience on the production floor in a safety-committed organization
Strong knowledge of local safety laws and compliance requirements
Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and lead teams
Excellent communication, consultation, and leadership skills
Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking and implementing long-term safety programs
