Production Planning & Execution:
Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet demand forecasts and deliverytimelines.
Coordinate with procurement, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure uninterruptedproduction.
Process Optimization:
Monitor and improve production line efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output.
Implement best practices in manufacturing and lean processes (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, GMP,GHP).
Team Management:
Supervise and guide production line staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs and productivitygoals.
Conduct on-the-job training and skill development for line operators and junior staff.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP).
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to minimize deviations and product defects.
Health & Safety:
Maintain high standards of workplace hygiene and safety as per statutory regulations.
Conduct regular safety drills and audits to enforce compliance.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain detailed production reports, downtime analysis, and performance metrics.
Provide regular updates to the production manager on output, issues, and improvements.
