About the Role

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Lead site reliability efforts across Java-based microservices.
Manage Kubernetes clusters (self-managed or EKS/GKE/AKS).
Define and implement SLIs/SLOs, automate alerting, and handle on-call rotations.
Troubleshoot production issues, JVM performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure failures.
Automate deployments, CI/CD, and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.
Drive observability, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Required Skills:

7 - 10 years of experience in SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure roles.
Strong knowledge of
Java/JVM internals
, debugging, profiling tools.
Deep hands-on experience with
Kubernetes
, Helm, container lifecycle.
Good knowledge of
CI/CD
, GitOps workflows, and IaC tools like Terraform.
Familiar with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Leadership experience mentoring, team building, driving initiatives.
