Job Description

You should have 7 to 16 years of experience in VMware daily operations and troubleshooting. You should be familiar with vSphere Clustering terms such as HA, DRS, and VMotion. Additionally, you must have a fundamental understanding of VMware vSphere Networking terms like switches, port group, VLAN, IP subnetting, and routing. Knowledge of basic Linux commands (ls, df -h, VI, CAT, chmod, and chown) is required. Experience with storage basic terms like LUN, zoning, and masking is necessary. Understanding of vSAN fundamentals, disk groups, and storage policies is also required. Hands-on experience in VMware vSphere upgrade and L1 troubleshooting skills, including extracting logs, host connectivity issues, password expiry, and VM power on issues, are essential. You should have 6-10 years of experience in a technical position in a VMware vSphere Environment. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Possession of VMware Certified Professional on Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) certification is a plus.,
