Job Summary:

Years of experience needed: 5-10 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, manage, and maintain end-to-end reliability

  of PostgreSQL and NoSQL database

  systems (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase).

• Optimize and tune

  PostgreSQL and NoSQL database configurations for performance, availability, and scalability.

• Automate database

  management tasks, monitoring, backup and recovery across all database technologies using scripting (Python, Bash, Go) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef).

• Design and implement high

  availability, disaster recovery, multi-tenant, and failover solutions for PostgreSQL and NoSQL platforms.

• Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting for both PostgreSQL and NoSQL systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tooling.
• Collaborate with application, product engineering, and DevOps teams to integrate database best practices and modernize infrastructure.
• Manage upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, and incident response for all database services.
• Contribute to documentation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement in operational practices.
