Sr.Architect-Commercial Interiors

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Concept Development

• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for commercial spaces.
• Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and conceptual sketches.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and client guidelines.

2. Project Management

• Lead end-to-end interior design projects, from client brief to final execution.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and MEP teams.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design quality.

3. Technical Documentation

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, interior working drawings, joinery details, and BOQs.
• Review and approve construction drawings and shop drawings.
• Ensure all technical documents meet accuracy, quality, and compliance requirements.

4. Client Liaison

• Engage with clients to understand requirements and present design solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design workshops.
• Provide design guidance and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in commercial interior design and architectural detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office, and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and ergonomic standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture / Interior Architecture.
• 6-10 yrs of exp
• Proven track record of handling medium to large-scale corporate/commercial interior projects.
• Experience in design-build environments (optional but preferred).
