Sr. Workday Financial Systems Analyst

You will be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday Financials solutions. As the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Financials, you will provide guidance and support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and document resolutions. Additionally, you will assist Finance and Accounting teams in configuring and maintaining Business Processes, Account Posting Rules, and security assignments. Your role will involve understanding and collaborating with IT colleagues on Workday-integrated 3rd party systems and assisting with Accounting Center journal automation. Furthermore, you will serve as a central point for internal financial reporting needs, assist with SOX Audits, communicate and implement new Workday releases, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will also recommend and create custom reports utilizing efficient report types. The ideal candidate must have experience in Accounting or Finance, Tax, or Information Technology and a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices. A minimum of 5 years of Workday Financials experience is required, along with advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. You should be highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills, are essential. In addition, you should have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately to management. Possessing emotional maturity, empathy, and kindness is important, along with sound knowledge of project management processes and concepts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with Consolidated Reporting, Multicurrency, Alternate Ledger Accounts sets, Revaluation, Book Codes, Allocations, and Alternate Ledger Currency. Familiarity with Workday's Tax worktags, former Accountant, Finance industry, or Professional Services experience, and experience with Accounting Center development are advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with Workday's EIB integration tools, security setup in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration are preferred qualifications.,
