Sr. Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end video production process from concept to final delivery.
• Edit and assemble raw footage, graphics, animations, music, and sound effects into polished, high-quality videos.
• Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project requirements.
• Create and optimize videos for digital platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, ads, campaigns, etc.).
• Mentor and guide junior editors and video team members.
• Implement advanced editing techniques, including color grading, motion graphics, VFX, and sound design.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and quick turnarounds.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in video editing and storytelling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Film Editing, Media Production, Visual Communication, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Video Editor / Senior Video Editor.
• Expertise in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Audition.
• Strong knowledge of motion graphics, VFX, and audio editing.
• A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing high-quality video editing projects.
• Excellent sense of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently as well as lead a team of editors.
