Sr. Tester with Business Analyst Skills

Role Overview: You will play a dual role as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Tester, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the development team in a .NET/MVC-based application environment. Your responsibilities will include requirement gathering, analysis, functional testing, and ensuring the final product meets technical standards and business goals within an Agile/Scrum team setting. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements. - Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, and workflows. - Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and mockups as required. - Review requirements, design documents, and user stories to ensure completeness and testability. - Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements. - Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. - Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA and work closely with developers for resolution. - Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Serve as a liaison between developers and business teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred. - 3 years of analysis skills preferred. - 4 years of total work experience required. - 2 years of documentation experience required.
