Sr. Technologist (CoE: Process Automation) ~ Position overview / Objective~ Responsible for conceptualizing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Process Automation / Digitalization solutions to streamline and optimize Technology business processes. Skilled in process automation applications and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams are the primary job requirements. Job Requirements & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Process Assessment: Collaborate with CTS , Tech CoE, Ops, IT departments to assess current business processes, identify bottlenecks, and evaluate opportunities for automation and optimization.Document existing processes and gather requirements for automation projects. Automation Development: Conceptualize and develop automation solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies. Create automation workflows, scripts, and bots to automate repetitive and manual tasks. Integration and Testing: Integrate automation solutions with existing systems, applications, and databases.Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of automated processes. Monitoring and Maintenance: Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to track the performance of automated processes. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for automation solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues. Process Documentation: Document automation workflows, procedures, and configurations for reference and training purposes. Maintain up-to-date documentation and make it accessible to relevant stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and best practices. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation enhancements . Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 8 to 13 years of experience. Proven experience in monitoring various Process Automation applications like Process data historian, Laboratory data management system, Data reconciliation, Data Analytics, Data reconciliation, Optimization, or related applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity / Expertise in various Automation tools IP.21, Sigmafine, LIMS, Basic and advanced data analytics tools. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Knowledge of business process analysis and optimization. Results-oriented and a strong commitment to improving operational efficiency. KEY SKILLS Data analysis & modeling skills. Mathematics and Statistics Database Knowledge Basic Programming Tools.
