Sr Technical Support Analyst - Incident Management, Monitoring Tools

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for Java-based applications in a production environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve and service requests within defined SLAs
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve production issues
• Perform application deployments and ensure proper configuration in the production environment
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues
• Participate in incidents, including system failures, performance issues, and application errors
• Collaborate with the development team to identify root causes of incidents and implement permanent fixes
• Monitor production systems and proactively identify potential issues before they escalate
• incident management, including incident triaging, investigation, and resolution
• Document known issues and create knowledge base articles for future reference
• Continuously improve the production support processes and workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high- Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of Java applications to ensure optimal performance and scalability
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting availability and reliability of applications
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24x7 support for critical production issues
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience
• Solid experience pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with L3 support and incident management processes
• Solid attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Solutions to ensure early detection of issues
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including incident reports, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a Java Production Support Engineer or similar role
• Solid understanding procedures
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations to provide support outside regular business hours
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, of Java-based applications, web services, and related technologies
• Familiarity with including developers, testers, and infrastructure engineers, to ensure seamless operation of the production environment
• Continuously strive to improve the SRE principles and practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK stack, or similar
• Reliability, availability, and performance of our applications and systems
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production support and Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under SRE activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cert in a production environment
• Experience with incident management tools and processes
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• in Java application development and support
• In-depth knowledge of Production Support L3 Support and SRE activities
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving incidents Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Solid understanding of Java frameworks, application servers, and ifications in Java or related technologies
