Job Description

Install, configure, and manage IBM DataPower Gateway appliances. Implement security policies and configure SSL/TLS connections. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures. Administer, monitor, and manage the API gateway infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Work with development teams to design and implement API strategies. Develop and enforce API policies and procedures. Manage API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and threat protection. Coordinate with IT and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues. Conduct regular reviews of the API gateway performance and make recommendations for improvements. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in API management and integration. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Implement and maintain web services on DataPower such as REST, SOAP. Document system configurations, updates, and propose improvements. Conduct system performance tuning and capacity planning. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
