As a System Administrator at our company, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and experience to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include: - System Management: Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, workstations, and networking hardware. - Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitoring system performance, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime. - Software Management: Assisting in software installation and configuration for employee use. - User Support: Providing technical support to employees for hardware and software issues. - Security: Implementing security protocols to protect sensitive data. - Backup & Recovery: Managing regular system backups for data restoration in case of failure. - Documentation: Maintaining clear documentation of system configurations and procedures. - Collaboration: Working closely with the senior IT team for system upgrades and projects. To qualify for this position, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a System Administrator. - Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments. - Understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP). - Experience with system monitoring and backup solutions. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - Effective task prioritization and management skills.
