Required Sr. Structural Engineer / Structural Draughtsman with Rebars Shop drawings(CADS RC) + BBS Experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and Prepare Structural GA drawings using REVIT and Auto CAD
• Develop and prepare reinforcement shop drawings using CADS RC and Autocad or associated programs based on direction and design provided by TL/ Manager.
• Preparation of Bar Bending schedules. Knowledge of ACI and British standards.
• Work as a Team Member to coordinate design projects with Designers, Architects, Engineers and other Revit technicians.
• Utilize customized tools, utilities and scripts to automate work process and improve Revit productivity and efficiency in compliance the company standards.
• Work under the direction of Technical Manager, BIM Coordinator / Manager
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline CADS RC/ BIM Modelling and AutoCAD
• Ability to export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally.
• Good level of communication and writing skills.
• Leveraging CADS RC / BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Gulf Project Experience Required.

Minimum 5 years Experience in CADs RC, Autocad and REVIT

Should be able to lead the Rebar Detailers team

Software Knowledge Required

• Good knowledge in

  CADS RC, Autocad and REVIT

• AutoCAD for drawing, drawing linkage and cleanup.
• General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks.

To be successful in this role we envision Key personnel will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years of CADS RC / Revit experience with BIM proficiency and intermediate level use of imaging software preferred.

This role will require personnel with minimum of Bachelor Degree in Civil or Diploma equivalent, professional certification in Revit will be viewed favorably.
