Sr. Structural Design Engineer - Bridge

Assystem STUP employs 1500 engineers who provide support to clients in the transportation, urban development, decarbonised energy, and industrial and complex buildings markets. With its headquarters in Delhi, Assystem STUP also has a local presence throughout India with 9 offices spread across the country. Assystem STUP's teams have already been involved in many projects such as the construction of Dassault factories in Nagpur, preliminary studies of future EPR nuclear reactors in India, the development of the road transport networks in Mumbai, and others.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team for technical and administrative matters.
• Lead the team of engineers and draftsman to motivate for aligning the team to achieve the delivery.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
• Taking active participation in Business development activities.
• Meeting clients for BD as well as Technical discussions.
• Take care of billing, collections and budget of the jobs.
• Achieving the monthly, quarterly and yearly targets for billing, collection and new orders.
  

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in detailed design of bridges and viaducts for Metro, Highway, and Railway projects
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated expertise in bridge engineering, including mechanics, materials, and construction methodologies
• Proficiency in advanced analysis software (e.g., STAAD, MIDAS, LUSAS) and CAD
• In-depth knowledge of Indian and international bridge design codes and standards
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in bridge design and construction techniques
