As a Switching Converter design lead, you will play a crucial role in selecting converter architectures for various applications such as Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, Inverting Buck-boost, and SIMO converters. Your primary focus will be on driving efficiency, transient performance, and IDDQ at high operational frequencies to optimize battery life for handheld electronic devices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Analog IC design projects from concept definition to manufacturing release. - Direct and guide a research or technical design function responsible for developing electronic parts and integrated circuits for various applications. - Assign tasks to team members, provide design guidance, develop schedules, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle. - Evaluate project results during design and silicon evaluation phases to ensure technical objectives are met. - Collaborate with physical designers, design verification teams, systems engineers, application engineers, and marketing to prepare product briefs, datasheets, and application notes. - Interface with customers, field sales teams, and field applications teams to understand customer requirements and support product development. - Participate in hiring, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure organizational efficiency and individual growth. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - 8+ years of experience in analog circuit design and switching converter design. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in switching DCDC regulators design, including multi-phase buck, boost, and buck-boost converters. - Strong understanding of control architectures and device physics applicable to Power IC design. - Expertise in tools such as Spectre, Simplis, Matlab, and AMS. - Experience in system-level understanding, IC system partitioning, and architectural tradeoff analysis. - Ability to work closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams to drive successful product development. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Roles and responsibilities Responsible for BIM & CAD DESIGN tasks as directed by the Engineer. Undertaking structural modelling and detailing on global projects using REVIT & AutoCAD. Develop Bridge models in Revit (from scratch). Prepare Bridge drawings in AutoCAD. Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy. Creation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliance with AECOM Standards. Develop RC intent drawings. Prepare and modify 3D BIM models for development of federated models. Maintaining regular communication with client/lead region/project lead for understand the client’s requirements for qualitative and timely delivery. Liaising with the team manager/(s) to keep informed of all developments associated with the project. Providing guidance to the project team, leading a qualitative and client-focused culture. Qualifications Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university. 6 to10 years relevant experience in Structural Engineering modelling and detailing. Proven experience & sound knowledge in bridges. Proven experience in 3D modelling using tools like Revit Structures & AutoCAD. Ability to create custom families and templates to enhance BIM workflows. Must be experienced in ProjectWise, BIM 360/ACC. Strong understanding on structural engineering is mandatory. Must be proactive and should maintain professionalism. Understanding of construction phasing and sequencing for complex projects. Proficient in written and verbal communication in English language and good command of technical English terminology. Experienced in working towards tight deadlines focusing on the quality of product. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, including ISO 19650 or COBie.
