Job Description

JD APIC Support1. Should have good understanding of API lifecycle. 2. Monitoring and documenting the IBM API Connect v10 subsystems and Datapower v10 server's health and service's logs on hourly basis. 3. Analyze the service's logs from IBM APIC Analytics v10 or Datapower v10 to identify problems within the environment. 4. Reporting immediately to the lead/team in case of observing any issue related to server or services while monitoring during the allocated shifts. 5. Testing the APIs with provided payload data using postman, Soap UI etc. in any troubleshooting calls during the allocated shifts. 6. Must be availble to work from office in business/non business hours. 7. Good to have knowledge of IBM API Connect v10 and Datapower v10 workflow. 8. Ability to multi task and work in a high pressured environment. APIC Admin1. Must have knowledge in linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) commands includes installing the linux packages. 2. Handle all the administration task which includes the installation of IBM API Connect v10 and DataPower v10 on premises. Also handling the configurations such as creating users, groups and roles, and security configurations such as Secure Socket Layer. 3. Participate in troubleshooting calls when needed to analyze the root cause of the issues. 4. Taking the backups and restorating as per the need in IBM API Connect v10 subsystems and Datapower v10. 5. Analyze the server's logs from IBM API Connect v10 subsystems and Datapower v10 to identify the root cause within the environment. 6. Should have good knowledge regarding IBM API Connect v10 subsystems and Datapower v10 hardware specifications, networking requirements and storage. 7. Ability to multi task and work in a high pressured environment. 8. Experience in SSL renewals and DP firmware & APIC minor/major upgrades essential. 9. Strong troubleshooting skills and strong device performance/capacity metric knowledge. 10. Good to have experience in working in a DataPower/APIC role within the banking industry. APIC Developer1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design APIs. 2. Develop APIs using IBM API Connect based on best practices and design principles. 3. Manage and maintain life cycle of APIs in the IBM API connect platform. 4. Integrate API proxies with backend APIs in IBM API connect platform. 5. Implement security majors such as authentication and authorization to ensure the protection of data and resources. 6. Integrate APIs with various backend systems, database and third party systems. 7. Deploy APIs to various environment such as development, staging and production. 8. Developing and maintaining documentation to facilitate ease of use for both internal and external developers. 9. Should have knowledge of implementation of ouath configuration. 10. Should have knowledge of gateway scripting and XSLT. 11. Should have knowledge of implementing TLS profiles & MPGW protocol. 12. Good knowledge of monitoring, logging and troubleshooting the functionality of APIs. 13. Good knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes container orchestration system. 14. Must have experience in API management for implementing REST API, Plans, Security policies.
