Key Responsibilities:

\u2012 Create GQL APIs by developing in GO .

\u2012 Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

\u2012 Build the plugins in GO required for ETL processes for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and cloud database technologies.

\u2012 Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

\u2012 Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and regions.

\u2012 Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

\u2012 Manage exploratory data analysis to support database and dashboard development

Key Requirements:

Experience: 8-10 years would be preferable.

Required Skills:

\u2012 A deep understanding of both fundamental programming concepts and the unique features of Golang.

\u2012 Should be well-versed in the GO language, managing pointers, as well as understanding how to use its mature standard library.

\u2012 Proficiency in the Go programming language, understanding of concurrent programming, and familiarity with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

\u2012 Need strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

\u2012 Good knowledge of Rest APIs, databases and SQL.

\u2012 Understanding of index design and performance-tuning techniques

\u2012 Exposure to Source control like GIT, Azure DevOps

\u2012 Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

\u2012 Experience with automated testing and coverage tools and experience with CI/CD automation tools (desirable)

\u2012 Very good communication skills.

\u2012 Ability to easily fit into a distributed development team.

\u2012 Ability to manage timelines of multiple initiatives.

\u2012 Ability to articulate insights from the data and help business teams make decisions
