Job Description

Java Backend Developer (API + DB). Full stack if possible.

Java:

Proficient in Java programming language, with experience in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and Java frameworks (Spring boot)

Web technologies:

Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

Databases:

Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Cloud platforms:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

Testing and deployment:

Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Agile development:

Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.

Communication and leadership:

Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and capacity to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Position Summary

Performs standard/routine assignments by following existing procedure. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior-level roles. Has impact on own work team/functional/business unit. Requires working knowledge and experience within own function/specialty area . Continues to build professional expertise, including knowledge of the domain, processes, customers etc.

Solves variety of problems of moderate scope and within own area
Analyzes possible solutions using technical expertise and independent judgment, but typically within defined practices and procedures

Qualifications

Preferred:

Deep knowledge of at least one programming language.
Ability to document, track and monitor problem/issue to a timely resolution
Collaborative problem-solving ability and self-motivated

Education/Experience

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 0-2 years of experience
