You should possess 5-8 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment. Along with a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in computer science or a related field, you should hold a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or an equivalent Agile certification. It is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles. Furthermore, proficiency in modern SDLC processes and tools, release management, and change/incident management is crucial. Experience with ticket creation, escalation, and SDLC management processes is also required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must-have, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Being highly energetic and self-motivated is vital, coupled with a drive for continuous improvement and fostering a positive team culture. Proficiency in Jira, custom filtering, and extensive reporting is necessary, and familiarity with Confluence or similar collaborative tools is desirable. Nice-to-have qualifications include exposure to teams working with client-facing SaaS products, an understanding of IT processes and challenges, and prior experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, Developer, or Quality Assurance. The role involves working in UK shift timings from 1 PM to 10 PM, providing support for release activities based on EST times for two days per production cycle.
