Sr. Safety Engineer

Job Description

Regularly assess project sites for potential hazards and conduct safety audits to identify areas for improvement. Enforce adherence to statutory safety norms and company safety standards. Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant. Train workers and subcontractors on safety protocols, emergency response, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Investigate accidents and incidents, analyzing the cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Maintain detailed records of safety training, incident reports, and site safety plans. Foster a positive safety culture within the project team and contractors. Work with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to integrate safety into all phases of the project. Stay informed about and comply with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Regularly review and improve safety procedures and practices. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
