Sr. Quality Analyst

As a Software Tester, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing. You will be tasked with identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using issue-tracking tools, and providing detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality. Collaboration with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing is crucial in this role. You will also be required to perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes and conduct performance testing. Additionally, you will need to check for security flaws, including data security (which includes data in DB), and provide feedback or suggestions to improve the application functionality, UI, and UX. Continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness is expected, along with staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have proven experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing. Proficiency in using test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar is required. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies is essential, along with experience using issue-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are key attributes for this position. Effective communication and collaboration skills will also be beneficial in successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.,
