Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute test strategies for backend systems and data flows.
Write and run complex SQL queries to validate data transformations and integrity.
Validate stored procedures, triggers, views, functions, and cursors in relational databases.
Perform end-to-end ETL testing including source-to-target data verification and transformation logic validation.
Work closely with data engineers and business analysts to understand requirements and test data mappings.
Test cloud-based applications and services hosted on AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).
Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases focused on data validation.
Log defects, track them through resolution, and perform regression testing.
Provide detailed reports and status updates to QA leads and project managers.

Must Have:

Strong command of SQL including joins, stored procedures, triggers, views, and cursors.
Proven experience with ETL testing, data warehouse testing, and data reconciliation.
Hands-on experience working with AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS.
Excellent understanding of data quality frameworks, transformation rules, and validation strategies.
Experience testing large data volumes and handling complex business logic.
