Senior Automation QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automation frameworks

  for web and API testing from the ground up.
• Develop and execute

  automated test scripts

  across multiple platforms and browsers using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Cucumber.
• Implement and maintain

  API test suites

  using Postman and, optionally, Rest Assured.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, smoke

  , and

  end-to-end testing

  of web applications.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  for continuous testing and rapid feedback loops.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and high product quality.
• Advocate and implement

  QA best practices, coding standards

  , and

  test strategy improvements

  .
• Conduct

  code reviews

  of automation scripts and mentor junior QA team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in QA automation and bring innovative ideas to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• (Good to have) Develop and execute

  mobile automation tests

  using Appium for iOS and Android applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience

  in QA Automation with proven experience in multiple tools like:
• Selenium
• Cypress
• Playwright
• Cucumber
• Postman (API Testing)
• Proficiency in programming languages like

  Java/Javascript

• Strong understanding of

  QA methodologies

  ,

  SDLC

  , and

  Agile frameworks

• Solid experience in

  writing and maintaining automation frameworks

• Strong experience in

  web application testing

  test planning

• Strong experience in

  Performance Testing

  using tools like Gatling/Jmeter/Load Runner
• Proficiency in at least one programming language used in automation (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
