Sr Python Cloud Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a key member of the engineering team as a Senior Python & Cloud Engineer, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure applications utilizing Python and modern cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Your primary focus will be on software development, cloud architecture, database management, monitoring, optimization, collaboration, and technical leadership. Additionally, any interest or background in AI and Generative AI will be advantageous for contributing to future innovations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead software development by designing, developing, and implementing high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python. - Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications and infrastructure on major cloud providers, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness. - Work with various database technologies to design efficient data models, manage data storage, and optimize query performance. - Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for application health, performance, and security. Optimize cloud infrastructure and application code for efficiency. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. - Mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural discussions, and drive best practices in software development and cloud operations. Qualifications Required: - Mastery in Python with hands-on experience in advanced Python programming, including building RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. - Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with significant experience in core services. - Strong experience with container technology (Docker/kubernetes) and orchestration tools. - Understanding and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases. - Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and software testing. - Experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure APIs. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
