Job Description

As a Sr. Global Purchase Engineer specializing in Electronic Components, your role involves procuring goods, materials, components, and services while adhering to specified cost and delivery timelines. You will be responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of required materials across various commodities such as electronics, components, semiconductor, both locally and globally. Your key responsibilities include: - Managing end-to-end procurement processes for all categories. - Resolving price, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers. - Processing purchase requisitions and releasing POs for regular requirements to ensure timely delivery. - Gathering technical and commercial information from suppliers before making purchasing decisions. - Sourcing and developing new/alternative vendors locally and internationally to enhance lead times and pricing. - Approving samples from R&D for new vendors. - Supporting R&D with material arrangements for new projects within set deadlines. - Assisting with product costing and sharing the information with the HOD for approval. - Identifying new material sources to reduce costs and obtaining samples for approval. - Preparing necessary reports and maintaining documentation. You should possess a B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Power Electronics. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
