Your Key Responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Process Ownership: Serve as the global owner for all strategic procurement processes, establishing and maintaining process standards, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a global procurement strategy aligned with organisational objectives, ensuring agility and compliance across regions.
- Procurement Transformation: Lead large-scale transformation projects, including digital procurement initiatives, automation, and adoption of new technologies to drive efficiency and value creation.
- Change Management: Drive cultural and operational change across the organisation to support the adoption of new procurement practices, technologies, and mindsets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, suppliers, and technology partners, to optimise procurement outcomes and foster innovation.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish and monitor KPIs, benchmark against industry standards, and implement ongoing process improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement processes adhere to global regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Knowledge Leadership: Leverage academic background to integrate cutting-edge procurement theories, case studies, and research into practical business solutions. Training & Development: Mentor and upskill procurement teams globally, fostering a culture of learning, excellence, and innovation.
Essential Requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
- Master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; business school academic experience highly desirable.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a global process owner or transformation leadership role.
- Proven expertise in leading procurement transformation projects, including digitalisation, automation, and process re-engineering.
- Strong understanding of procurement technologies such as e-sourcing, e-procurement, and spend analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in complex, matrixed, and multicultural environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Certifications such as CIPS, ISM, or PMP are advantageous.
