The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.
· Strong expertise in Oracle & PostgreSQL / AlloyDB with senior-level hands-on administration experience.
· Flexibility to work with other databases such as MySQL (desired), MongoDB, and cloud-native DBs.
· Proficiency in SQL, performance tuning, and optimization.
· Advanced knowledge of backup & recovery (RMAN, Data Guard, expdp/impdp).
· Strong skills in automation scripting (Unix Shell, Bash, Python, Ansible).
· Excellent incident management and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IT or related field.
8+ years of experience in Database Administration with proven success in enterprise environments.
