Sr. Officer, Quality Assurance - India

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with Herbalife requirements and adherence to HLF's global procedures in Quality assurance and control during the manufacturing and storage of Herbalife products at the Contract manufacturing location in India. As the Site QA lead at the CM (Indore) for Herbalife, you will be responsible for various QA activities on-site, including but not limited to: - Monitoring processes on set frequencies to ascertain compliance with Herbalife Quality procedure requirements - Conducting periodic audits of the facility and operations associated with Herbalife to help CM meet and improve quality and hygiene standards - Communicating with CM regularly for any applicable changes in product processes impacting quality - Coordinating with CM for complaint handling, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementing Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA) - Supporting CM in troubleshooting raw materials, packing materials, and process quality challenges, driving improvements, and working on defect elimination for HLF products - Conducting regular training of the site team on updates in Quality requirements and any changes in Quality procedures - Ensuring document verification and providing dispatch approvals for all batches from the site before product shipment - Collating information for regular MIS and sharing periodic reports with the team as per defined requirements - Supporting the site in the validation of new products to be manufactured on-site - Participating in cross-functional improvement projects, meetings, and conferences as per defined responsibilities - Testing of RM, PM & FG and participating in OOS investigations - Working on Continual Improvement projects for Quality Assurance and control This position will report directly to the Manager QA India. The minimum qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Graduation or Post Graduation in Food Technology/Food Science/Chemical Technology/Pharma/other allied streams - Skills: Experience in handling Ayurveda products and a good knowledge of Ayush requirements, trained in Quality and/or Food Safety Management system implementation, working knowledge of basic Quality control processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office - Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the relevant field, preferably in the Ayurveda/Nutraceutical/Pharma/Food industry If you meet the above qualifications and have the required experience, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position.,
