About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and innovative .NET Developer to join our dynamic Information Technology team at Luxoft India. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing mission-critical web applications and services that impact thousands of users monthly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in backend development with extensive experience in .NET technologies, particularly .NET Core, and a solid understanding of cloud integration, especially with AWS services. As a key member of our Agile teams, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design scalable, high-performance solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on API programming and web service development. A deep understanding of .NET Core, including microservices architecture, middleware, and service-oriented architecture (SOA), is essential. Candidates must demonstrate significant experience in developing RESTful and SOAP web services, along with familiarity with Web API protocols. Knowledge of AWS cloud services and their integration with .NET applications is required. Excellent communication skills in US English, both verbal and written, are necessary to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. The ability to quickly grasp high-level ideas and communicate them to team members and stakeholders is highly valued. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile environments and possess a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend web services and APIs using .NET Core, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Implement microservices architecture and middleware solutions to support mission-critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate applications with AWS cloud services, ensuring secure and efficient data flow and storage.
- Maintain and improve existing web applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
- Adopt best practices for code quality, documentation, and version control to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
