Job Description

As an Engineer II- Mechanical Engineering at the MCAD CoE department in the company, your role will involve leading and contributing to global design engineering support for customized orders, new product development, Value Engineering (VAVE), and improvement projects. You will plan and oversee engineering support activities, execute diverse projects ranging from concept design to NPD, Bills of Materials (BOM), CAD modeling, detailing using SolidWorks Tool, and Change Orders. Your responsibilities will also include rapidly acquiring product knowledge, driving design and development of parts/assemblies, and maintaining high-quality output within specified timeframes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and contribute to global design engineering support - Plan and oversee engineering support activities and improvement initiatives - Execute diverse projects from concept design to NPD, BOM, CAD modeling, detailing, and Change Orders - Drive design and development of parts/assemblies - Maintain high standards of quality and schedule adherence - Participate in customer and internal review meetings - Provide accurate project estimations - Uphold adherence to project management processes - Embrace additional responsibilities assigned by the organization Qualifications Required: - Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering - 5-8 years of experience on SolidWorks platform in Sheet metal domain - Expertise in 3D modeling and detailing work on SolidWorks - Working experience on any PLM tools, SolidWorks PLM & PD cloud experience preferred - Knowledge and hands-on experience of sheet metal fabrication process - Basic Electrical knowledge required - Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in English - Experience in handling large CAD assemblies in SolidWorks Additional Details: - Safety, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Diversity & Inclusion are the core principals of the organization. - Strategic priorities include Customer Focus, Operational Excellence, High-Performance Culture, Innovation, and Financial Strength. - Behaviors expected include Owning It, Acting With Urgency, Fostering a Customer-First Mindset, Thinking Big and Executing, Leading by Example, Driving Continuous Improvement, and Learning and Seeking Out Development.
