Job Description

As a qualified candidate for this position, you should have a Diploma/BE/B.tech/ME/M.tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 7-10 years of experience. You must be proficient in Creo CAD software and have experience in 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting using the CREO tool. Additionally, you should possess knowledge and hands-on experience in Windchill PLM, as well as expertise in designing Plastic and Sheet Metal components. With 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in product development, it would be preferable if you have experience in designing electrical enclosures/panels. Your duties and responsibilities will include designing and developing plastic and sheet metal components, creating 3D Models/2D drawings using CAD software (Creo), and ensuring product releases through ECO/ECN using Windchill PLM tool. You should have a solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance) and 2D Stack-up analysis, along with experience in designing electromechanical products/panels based on design requirements. Your role will involve assessing design changes for cost reduction and performance improvement while maintaining quality and timeliness. Additionally, you will be responsible for design calculations, validation, and supporting prototype verifications. It is essential to be familiar with Fire Panels/devices design standards, regulatory requirements, and the engineering change process. Collaboration with internal and global teams, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and service providers will be necessary during new product introductions or necessary product changes. Adherence to company standards and procedures is crucial for this role.,
