Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sr. Manager/Director of Business Development/Product Marketing at MaxLinear, your primary focus will be on expanding MaxLinear's presence among the top 20 global service providers. You will have direct account responsibility for certain operators in India, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Additionally, you will need to learn, communicate, and effectively position MaxLinear product differentiations in 5G infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and broadband. Your role also involves creating and maintaining revenue and unit forecasts to support MaxLinear forecast cycles every quarter. Collaboration with global sales teams on forecast alignment, RFPs, and supply chain management will be essential. Furthermore, you will collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to review/contribute to Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs), market analysis, competitive threats, and other trends. Developing and implementing communication plans for customers, sales, investors, and internal executive presentations will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Expand MaxLinear's presence among the top 20 global service providers - Direct account responsibility for certain operators in India, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan - Learn, communicate, and effectively position MaxLinear product differentiations in 5G infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and broadband - Create and maintain revenue and unit forecasts to support MaxLinear forecast cycles every quarter - Collaborate with global sales teams on forecast alignment, RFPs, supply chain, etc. - Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to review/contribute to Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs), market analysis, competitive threats, and other trends - Develop and implement communication plans for customers, sales, investors, and internal executive presentations Qualifications: - Willingness to travel domestically or globally as required (more than 50%) - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience creating and delivering highly effective presentations to senior management - Extensive technical knowledge of one or more of the following: (1) silicon product life cycle, (2) broadband industry standards and products (DOCSIS/PON), (3) Wi-Fi standards, generations, and products, and (4) 5G and cellular infrastructure - Strength in building and analyzing complex financial models, familiarity with Excel - BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with +13 years of experience, or MS / MBA with +10 years of experience In conclusion, MaxLinear is a global, NASDAQ-traded company where the entrepreneurial spirit thrives.
