Role Summary

• BIU will lead the Business Intelligence function by driving data strategy, advanced analytics, and actionable insights to support business growth and leadership decision-making. The role involves managing multiple BI workstreams, senior stakeholders, and high-performing teams while ensuring scalability, governance, and quality of BI solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Own the BI strategy, roadmap, and execution across assigned business functions.
• Lead and manage BI teams / team leads; drive capability building and succession planning.
• Partner with senior business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into data-driven solutions.
• Design, standardize, and govern dashboards, MIS, and enterprise KPI frameworks.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of data and reporting outputs.
• Drive automation, self-serve analytics, and BI platform enhancements.
• Advanced analytics and insights Enable predictive and diagnostic analytics
• Prioritize BI demand, manage delivery timelines, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Present insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate performance of BI talent.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, IT, Product, Risk, and Finance teams.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI / Tableau / Looker.
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL; exposure to Python/R is desirable.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI architecture.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to BFSI / Insurance domain.
• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
• Familiarity with data governance and regulatory reporting standards.

Educational Qualification / Experience

• MBA from a Tiered institute with minimum 8 year of experience
