As a Sr. Manager Technical (Design and Management) at a leading non-profit organization, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the strategic planning and execution of construction projects. You will play a crucial role in strengthening the technical aspects of construction, ensuring quality assurance, and promoting innovation for sustainable development. Additionally, you will be responsible for upholding safety and security standards while managing risks effectively. - Regularly update construction management SoPs, develop monitoring system, and reporting mechanism for efficient project execution - Provide guidance on construction techniques, methods, building codes, and regulations to enhance technical aspects of construction - Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants for detailed design review, drawings, and internal technical audits - Learn, innovate, and implement new technologies in construction for Housing and WASH structures to reduce carbon emissions - Ensure implementation of safety and security norms according to Habitat India protocols to safeguard all stakeholders - 5-7 years of work experience in design and drafting (2-3 years) and construction project management (3-4 years), preferably in affordable/low-cost housing - Technical/Behavioral Skills: Building and Managing Relationships, Creating Innovations, Driving Success & Accountability, Making Decisions - Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, a construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and report writing - Fluency in English and local languages, excellent communication, and training skills are essential for this role,
