Sr Manager Projects Execution-(Mech& piping/Chemical Industry/ Chiplun

We are looking candidate for Senior Manager Project Execution (Mech & Pipping) based at Lote (MH)

Position description:

• Lead Execution member of Mechanical and Piping for Plant/Project, Coordinate with Detail Engineering, Procurement Coordination in Greenfield and Brownfield Projects Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordination with Detailed engineering Consultant for Mechanical and Piping.
• Review Mechanical Data sheets for Rotating and Fabricated Equipment including Package items.
• Technical discussions with various disciplines like process, operations, technical services, civil, electrical, instrumentation for the finalization of the Enquiry specs of packages
• Review Piping, fittings, and valve Specification
• Checking and preparation/estimate of Bill of Material for piping & insulation.
• Review of mechanical design - general arrangement drawings, Nozzle orientation.
• Develop key engineering deliverables for mechanical and piping disciplines.
• Cost Estimation of Projects including Budgeting & scheduling of project mechanical equipment and piping system.
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions in SAP.
• Coordination with Contractor for Piping fabrication, erection and monitoring.
• Coordination with contractor for Equipment erection, installation and Alignment.
• Monitor the progress, update project status and path forward on weekly basis to project management team.
• Daily Planning and reporting of Contractor progress to PMO and Line manager.
• Participate in Project Meetings to resolve open technical issues.
• Checking the contractor bills of Mechanical, Piping and Insulation and recommending for approval.
• Participate in HAZOP.
• 3D Modelling and review with respect to maintainability, construability and operations & safety
• Develop Spare philosophy with plant maintenance and include in the scope of vendor.
• Expedite vendors to get deliveries of equipment & piping as per project schedule.
• Provide Pre-Commissioning and commissioning Support.
• Vendor documentation and handover of equipment and packages to maintenance department. Educational qualifications preferred
• Category: Bachelor's Degree
• Field specialization: Mechanical Engineering, Project Engineering & Management Required Competencies:
• Should have a career journey in Site execution of Mechanical equipment, piping, etc in chemical/ petrochemical plants/projects in medium to large size projects. Project Coordination with DEC. Brownfield and Greenfield Project Experience must.

• Good planning and analytical skills
• Conversant with ASME ,TEMA, API , NFPA, OISD Codes and Standards,
• Hands-on with ERP SAP and procurement procedures
• Critical personality attributes viz. Good Leadership qualities, Interpersonal Skills.
