Sr. Manager Production Planning, Quality & Compliance

Role & responsibilities

• Production Planning:

  Develop monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules based on sales forecasts, market demand, and plant capacity.

• Inventory Control:

  Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials (RM), packing materials (PM), and finished goods (FG) to prevent stockouts or overstocking, considering product shelf-life.

• Material Requirements Planning (MRP):

  Generate material indents and coordinate procurement with the purchase department, tracking lead times and vendor supplies.

• Coordination:

  Liaise extensively with Production, QA, QC, Purchase, Stores, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of plans and resolve material or quality hold issues.

• Reporting and Analysis:

  Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports, analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions for efficiency improvements.

• System Management:

  Ensure accurate data entry and synchronization within ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP).

• Regulatory Compliance:

  Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to regulatory guidelines (e.g. FSSAI, FDA, etc.)

• Documentation and QMS:

  Develop, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and the overall Quality Management System documentation.

• Audits and Inspections:

  Conduct internal audits and manage external regulatory inspections and vendor qualifications.

• Deviation and CAPA Management:

  Investigate deviations, non-conformities, and market complaints, implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.

• Change Control:

  Manage formal processes for assessing and approving changes to materials, processes, or systems.

Good understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
