Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with customers to foster business growth and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Conduct in-depth negotiations with partners to establish and maintain highly profitable, synergistic relationships.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication, promoting repeat business and customer loyalty.

Sales & Market Analysis:

  • Monitor monthly sales performance to achieve budgeted targets and profitability.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and develop accurate sales forecasts to guide strategic

Sales & Market Analysis:

  • Monitor monthly sales performance to achieve budgeted targets and profitability.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and develop accurate sales forecasts to guide strategic planning.

Internal Coordination & Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Commercial teams to ensure efficient procedures and timely documentation.
  • Oversee marketing and dispatch activities to ensure daily stock availability and on-time material delivery.

Reporting & Decision-Making:

  • Prepare, analyze, and present factual data for management decision-making through comprehensive MIS reports.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for marketing, logistics, and exports to align with financial goals.

Market Expansion & Customer Engagement:

  • Utilize market surveys, product fairs, and expert opinions to enhance the customer base and improve market presence.
  • Attend pharmaceutical exhibitions, such as CPhI, to establish new customer contacts and strengthen existing relationships.

Customer Feedback & Satisfaction:

  • Conduct customer surveys, analyze feedback, and initiate corrective actions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Logistics Management:

  • Oversee all domestic and international logistics activities, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and SOPs.
  • Negotiate freight costs with CHA, forwarders, and transporters for each transaction, optimizing cost-efficiency.

Financial & Customer Account Management:

  • Ensure timely receipt of payments in accordance with credit terms, manage C forms, and handle proof of exports.
  • Resolve customer queries related to quality, price, and delivery, maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Candidate should have experience of minimum 7 years into Business Development - API domestic market.
