Sr. Lead Consultant (Solution Architect Ignition)

Job Description As a Senior Lead Consultant (Solution Architect - Ignition) at Birlasoft Pune, India, with 10-15 years of experience in Automotive/ Discrete/ Switchgear Manufacturing domain, you will play a pivotal role in our digitalization projects. Your primary responsibilities will include leading discussions, ensuring coordination with multiple stakeholders, and driving the success of our digitalization initiatives. You will be required to understand the overall digitization roadmap, focus on ongoing engagements, and facilitate knowledge transfer among various teams. In this role, you will also need to translate project requirements into specifications, define the scope of work, and outline technical deliverables for both the customer and offshore teams. Your expertise in MES - SCADA (Ignition), PLC, Machine Integration, Rockwell/ Siemens Automation products will be crucial in delivering successful implementations on Green or Brownfield MES/ SCADA projects. Moreover, your hands-on experience in IT-OT integration projects, Ignition Perspective module, Sepasoft MES modules, and communication protocols like MQTT, OPC UA & Modbus will be highly beneficial. As an Ignition Solution Architect, you will be expected to manage evolving customer requirements, document changes effectively, and support project management activities such as resource monitoring and technical risk identification. Collaborating closely with offshore development and management teams, you will drive the delivery of high-quality output by conducting regular reviews of development, integration codes, and technical deliverables to ensure alignment with customer and contractual requirements.,
