Job Summary
This individual contributor is highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Functional/Technical Integration Developer with expertise in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HCM Extract, BI Reports, Fast Formula, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Experience with Dell Boomi or similar integration tools is a plus. The candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Oracle HCM and other systems to support our business processes and ensure seamless data flow.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provides implementation and post-implementation triage and support of integration solutions between Oracle HCM Cloud and other business systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), managing both inbound and outbound interfaces.
- Reviews and modifies integration specifications and technical documentation related to integrations with Oracle HCM, ensuring alignment with business requirements and integration best practices.
- Develops and executes integration unit testing, including testing of data transformations, mappings, and endpoint connections to ensure integration solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Writes technical specifications, detailed design documents, and documentation for integration flows, error handling mechanisms, and data transformation logic.
- Ensures that new and existing integration solutions are designed and developed using industry best practices for APIs, SFTP, web services (SOAP/REST), and data synchronization strategies within Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Collaborates with IT teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure integrations adhere to company standards, security policies, and integration design patterns.
- Leads, mentors, and trains other technical resources in integration design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring the teams adherence to Oracle HCM and OIC best practices.
- Designs, develops, and configures moderately complex integrations and data pipelines between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud adapters, connections, and automation.
- Participates and coaches others in all software development lifecycle phases for integrations, applying deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud technologies, integration security, and performance optimization.
- Assists with project estimation and resource planning for integration development efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develops and maintains specialist knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, and associated data models and APIs. Analyzes data and interface requirements to design scalable and maintainable integrations.
- Evaluates potential integration solutions, demonstrating, installing, and configuring selected Oracle Cloud products for optimized data exchange and interoperability.
- Ensures the accessibility, retrievability, and security of integrated data. Provides advice on data transformations, handling errors, and handling specific data formats like HCM Extracts and HDL.
- Implements data protection measures, enabling the integrity and availability of integrated data by following Oracle security and governance frameworks. Manages and manipulates specific data services and error-handling processes to meet specific integration needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and other applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot HCM Extracts for data extraction.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom BIP reports based on user requirements.
- Write, debug, and optimize PL/SQL code for integration data transformation related to Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Optimize performance, ensure data accuracy, troubleshoot, and resolve integration-related issues.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and five (5) years of experience in Technology development/engineering
- 3 years of experience in integration development, specifically with Oracle HCM
- 3 years of development experience with Oracle database or database technologies
- 3 years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (e.g., SDLC).
- 2 years of development experience with cloud platforms such as OCI (Oracle Integration Cloud Infrastructure)
- 2 years experience developing and implementing data warehousing technologies within a large organization.
- 3 years of experience in Oracle HCM integration technologies, including HCM Extract, BI Reports, Fast Formula, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

- Preferred Certifications in Oracle HCM modules and Agile Methodology
- Two (2) years of experience using Agile development, GitHub and using tools such as Jira
- Three (3) years of development experience in cloud-based integration solutions and platforms.
- Three (3) years of development experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules and their integration points
- Two (2) years of experience with web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and XML/JSON data formats.
- Three (3) years of experience in Incident Management, Server Management and Application Disaster Recovery Management
- Two (2) years of development experience with cloud platforms such as OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Experience with integration platforms like Dell Boomi or similar tools is highly desirable.
