Sr. Frontend Developer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at our company, your role will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build a new framework. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing features and enhancements for the new framework in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner. - Crafting code that aligns with our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale web environment, and promoting these standards through code reviews. - Identifying areas for improvement within the code base, contributing to enhancements, and collaborating with other Frontend Engineers to share knowledge and insights. - Advocating for enhancements in product quality, security, and performance that benefit your team. - Addressing technical challenges of significant scope and complexity and influencing the long-term vision and objectives of your team. - Providing mentorship to Junior and Intermediate Engineers to facilitate their growth and development. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in modern JavaScript (Object oriented programming, ES6) and web frameworks such as React, NextJS, and similar technologies. - Strong understanding of core web and browser concepts, including how browsers parse and construct web pages. - Proficiency in semantic HTML, CSS3, and core JavaScript concepts, including web components and knowledge of the shadow dom. - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on complex technical, architectural, and organizational issues and propose effective solutions. - Experience in diagnosing and resolving performance and optimization challenges. - Positive and solution-oriented mindset. - Comfort with working in a highly agile and intensely iterative software development process.
