Content writer

You will be working as a Content Writer reporting to the Senior Content Marketing Manager. The primary job location will be in Mumbai, India. The compensation offered is competitive and best in the industry. This position is open for both freelancing and full-time candidates. As a Content Writer, your main responsibility will be to research industry-related topics thoroughly and create engaging and compelling content for the company's website and social media platforms. You will be required to generate new content ideas and ensure that articles are proofread before publication. Initially, this role will commence as a freelance position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on your performance. Your duties will include conducting in-depth research on various industry topics to produce original content, developing a range of content types such as blogs, articles, emails, whitepapers, infographics, videos, and social media posts, as well as assisting the marketing team in creating content for advertising campaigns. You will also be responsible for editing existing content to enhance readability, performing keyword research, and implementing SEO best practices to drive traffic to the company website. Additionally, you will be tasked with crafting compelling headlines and body copy to attract the target audience and identifying content gaps to address customers" needs. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in content writing or copywriting. Previous experience in journalism would be advantageous. You must demonstrate the ability to create various types of content, have proficiency in content management systems and Microsoft Office applications, and showcase a portfolio of published articles. Strong writing and editing skills, the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effective communication abilities, and experience in creating engaging videos on platforms like Instagram Reels or YouTube are desirable skills for this position. Knowledge of video editing software would be an added advantage.,
